Hotels in Rio can be on the expensive side, and rooms will fill up, so book early if you can. Our Brazilian partners at Abraji have identified a number of quality hotels in the city.
The GIJN staff and many international attendees will be staying at the Royal Tulip Hotel, which is now sold out. We have a backup, the Everest Rio Hotel, where we hope to also have shuttle service to the conference venue. You can get a discounted rate at this link, where you’ll also find other hotels identified by OPCO, which is the official tourism and hotel agency for the conference. On OPCO’s page, you can find a list of 17 hotels and hostels, including details like prices and distance from the conference site, the PUC.
