Corruption and Organized Crime

The amount of dirty money washing around the world each year is estimated at $2 trillion, and it affects everything from health and human rights to democracy and national security. This session will be led by Sheila Coronel, director of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism at Columbia University, and Drew Sullivan, founder of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project.

The workshop team has assembled an extensive list of resources to help fuel the discussion. You’ll find more than 30 tipsheets and reports on covering crime and corruption, freedom of information laws, security, and more.
