GIJC is hosting more than 40 sessions on computer-assisted reporting, taught by some of the world’s top trainers in the field. The classes cover the use of spreadsheets (Excel), database managers, mapping, social networking analysis and text-mining for investigations. There are also sessions on how to do better searches to find and download data, and special sessions on maritime data and tracking corruption. Classes are available in English, Portuguese, or Spanish. There will also be open computer lab time for tutorials and short presentations.
